The kennel in Hørsholm has had dogs since 1969 and has worked with Jack Russell Terrier since the first dog of the breed arrived in 1998. Breeding of the breed began in 2002 and is based on many years of experience with keeping dogs and the breed’s development. The breeder has completed DKK's breeder education, the two advanced courses and the dog keeper education. Professional knowledge is maintained through courses with DKK, Dansk Terrier Klub and KU SUND, focusing on genetics, diseases and behaviour. The kennel is a member of DKK and Dansk Terrier Klub and follows their recommendations for breeding and keeping dogs. Emphasis is placed on loving and responsible breeding of breed-typical puppies, with both physical and mental well-being in mind. Litters are born occasionally, and the dogs live freely in the home without cages, with access to the garden and participation in the family’s everyday life and travels. The goal is to send healthy, well-socialised puppies to new homes and preferably follow their lives thereafter.
