Pastime Irish Terrier breeder in Rügge · Germany

Pastime Irish Terrier has been breeding Irish Terriers in Rügge since 1987 and is a member of the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. The focus of the breeding program is preserving genetic diversity, which the breeder considers an important foundation for the health and future of the breed. The kennel has seven adult dogs, including three males and four females. Three of the females are currently used for breeding. A female has no more than three to four litters over the course of her life; a breeding break is planned after each litter. The dogs live in the house and have access to a garden of around three hectares. From the sixth week of life, the puppies also meet the adult dogs. This familiarizes them early with living together as a pack and with regular contact with people.
