Opalina's Dachshund breeder in Fakse · Denmark

Opalina's is a dog kennel in Faxe specialising in Norwegian Buhund. The kennel has completed DKK's breeder education programme and places emphasis on a responsible approach to breeding. The aim is to preserve the breed's characteristic qualities while also prioritising the dogs' physical health and well-being. The kennel's description highlights the desire for dogs that are both typical of the breed and have a stable, good temperament. Emphasis is also placed on harmonious lines, elegant movement and clear sexual dimorphism. These qualities are regarded as essential elements in breeding and selection. Opalina's also stresses that functional qualities should not be overshadowed by conformation. Health, temperament and the breed's natural drive therefore form part of the overall assessment of the breeding work. The kennel presents itself as a place where breed type and well-balanced dogs go hand in hand.
