Olympos

Kennel Olympos in Hørsholm breeds Bracco Italiano, the Italian pointing dog. The breed is described as noble, elegant and exceptionally friendly, with qualities suited both to the family and the hunter. Olympos helped bring the breed to the Nordic countries in the early 1990s. The breeding programme places emphasis on high-quality dogs and thorough breeding work. The kennel has gained recognition in Europe, including in Italy, the breed’s country of origin. Olympos thus highlights many years of commitment to the breed and its development. The kennel has several times had dogs named Dog of the Year in DKK and was named Breeder of the Year in DKK in 1995. It has also received DKK’s gold badge of honour and the Broholmer Plaque in 2023, DKK’s prestigious breeder award. Olympos has completed DKK’s breeder education.
