Of the white Queen

Of the white Queen is a dog kennel in Stuttgart that breeds Altdeutscher Schäferhund. Its history is shaped by encounters with white shepherd dogs: The kennel received its name in memory of a female dog who was closely connected to the family for many years and whose character had a lasting influence on the breeding philosophy. Contact with dogs, cats and horses always played an important role in everyday family life. An early visit to white shepherd dogs showed the family particularly clearly their calmness and composure when interacting with children. This experience encouraged them to welcome a dog into their lives and to engage intensively in dog sports. The experiences with the Berger Blanc Suisse described in the presentation form the starting point for the breeding philosophy of Of the white Queen. At its heart is the wish to enable families to experience the enriching relationship with a dog, as the kennel itself was fortunate to do. A female dog that joined the family later was intended to continue the development of the kennel.
