Of Kahnawake is a family-run kennel for Siberian Huskies in Ruhlkirchen. Since 2016, the breeding program has followed the guidelines of the DCNH, VDH and FCI. A breeding permit in accordance with § 11 of the Animal Welfare Act was issued by the veterinary office of the Vogelsberg district. The currently five dogs live in the house and have space to run on the extensive grounds of an old farm. Exercise and species-appropriate activities are just as much a part of everyday life as activities in the surrounding countryside. The breeding program focuses on health, a stable temperament, working ability and the breed-typical appearance. The dogs are examined for hip dysplasia and regularly undergo ophthalmological examinations for possible hereditary diseases. Vaccinations and protection against internal and external parasites are provided. When placing the puppies, the kennel takes the time to find suitable families for each individual dog.
