The breeding kennel of El Barun is dedicated to the Rhodesian Ridgeback. In June 2016, the C-litter was born: Nine puppies, including five males and four females, resulted from a champion pairing. The young dogs were scheduled to be handed over at the beginning of September 2016. The parent dogs Cara vom Adelshof and Rechino vom Bärenwald correspond, according to the presentation, to the original standard of their breed. Both are described as child-friendly and family-oriented, qualities that are particularly valued for living together in a family environment. In addition to raising the litter, the training of the female Cara is also mentioned: At that time, she was undergoing search-and-rescue dog training. The kennel thus places its Rhodesian Ridgebacks and the development of its dogs at the center.
