Mira Danica

Kennel Mira Danica in Maribo breeds Welsh Springer Spaniels and has had the breed since 2019. Enthusiasm for its appearance and temperament led to the establishment of the breeding programme in 2023. The kennel has completed the DKK breeder education programme and wishes to contribute healthy, well-functioning and breed-typical dogs. The dogs are part of an active everyday life, where hunting, showing and training provide them with varied experiences and close cooperation. The breeding work follows the recommendations of the DKK and the Spaniel Club. When planning a litter, both the bitch’s and the dog’s temperament, health and qualities are thoroughly assessed with a view to achieving a well-balanced match. Normally, no more than one to two litters are planned annually, depending on the kennel’s dogs. The puppies grow up in a home environment and encounter ordinary everyday impressions, car journeys, nature and various activities. A waiting list may be possible, but it is not a guarantee of a puppy from an upcoming litter.
