Malia Flower Golden Retriever breeder in Toftlund · Denmark

The kennel in Toftlund breeds Golden Retrievers with a focus on a calm and friendly temperament suited to life as a family dog. The dogs live closely with the family and have access to the entire home, so everyday life takes place in a safe, homely environment. The kennel has completed DKK's breeder education. The adult dogs receive both physical exercise and tasks that stimulate them mentally. Activities include obedience, tracking, body control and rally obedience. Trips to a dog forest give them the opportunity to run freely, and they occasionally meet other dogs. This varied everyday life is an important part of the dogs' well-being. The puppies are born and raised in the living room in the midst of the family's daily life and close to the other dogs. The breeding is based on the health and good temperament of the parent dogs. Before breeding, the parents are examined by X-ray for ED and HD and undergo eye examinations, establishing a careful foundation for future litters.
