Sandra and Andreas have been breeding Magyar Vizslas in Rosche for over 23 years. The breeding operation is registered with the I.H.V. e.V. (Association of People Interested in Magyar Vizslas in Germany), is a member of the A.C.W. (Alliance Canine Worldwide), and is inspected every two years by the association and voluntarily every two years by the veterinary office; it is licensed. Only dogs without hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, transitional vertebrae or patellar problems are used for breeding; all breeding dogs have been tested for 167 hereditary diseases and registered by DNA. Before being used for breeding, the dogs must have been successfully shown several times nationally and internationally; breeding suitability is assessed exclusively by international conformation judges. The dogs live in the house around the clock as family members; the property includes a house, a yard and grounds designed to be suitable for dogs. The puppies are imprinted from an early age through play, petting, environmental sounds, thunderstorm sounds and fireworks. At eight weeks, they leave with a pedigree, five vaccinations and veterinary health certificates; beforehand, the breeding supervisor checks them in the seventh to eighth week.
