Llandderfel

Llandderfel is a Border Collie breeding kennel in Weißenstein, whose foundation is the work with dogs on livestock. The fascination for the practical use of these herding dogs has existed for a long time. As the flock of sheep grew, the number of Border Collies also increased, so that the dogs are closely integrated into the work with the sheep. Puppies are only available at Llandderfel occasionally. A litter is then planned when a young dog is needed again for their own use. The breeding is thus directly oriented to the need for another working dog and does not take place regularly. Herding dog competitions are also part of the breeding environment and bring great joy. At such competitions, it can be observed what Border Collies can achieve on livestock. Equally important is their work on the alpine pasture, where the dogs' abilities become visible under practical conditions.
