Von der Boeler-Heide is a small hobby breeding kennel for Border Collies in Deutsch Goritz in Styria. It has existed since 1997 and, following the move to Austria in 2014, has been affiliated with the ÖKV and ÖCBH breeding associations. Previously, the kennel bred under the VDH and the Club für Britische Hütehunde. The focus is on the responsible breeding of these intelligent and impressive herding dogs. The puppies grow up in the house and experience everyday life together with children, cats and other dogs. The aim of the breeding programme is to produce active, affectionate family dogs with good temperaments. It is taken into account that a Border Collie requires loving yet consistent training in order to develop into a reliable companion. The kennel provides information about the Border Collie breed, raising the puppies, and topics such as dog sports and shows. The small breeding kennel is dedicated to the breed with commitment and combines the joy of its beauty with a special appreciation of its eagerness to learn and intelligence.
