Lassies

Lassies is a Bearded Collie breeding establishment in Stenlille with dogs from 100 % American lines. The breeding establishment has DKK breeder training and places emphasis on healthy dogs with a stable and strong temperament. The breed has been a permanent part of the breeding establishment’s history since the 1960s, while the kennel name was established in 1978, and the first litter followed the year after. The dogs live as part of the home and move around together on the property’s large garden area rather than in a kennel run. The puppies are born indoors and later get the opportunity to explore the entire area when they are ready. Everyday life is described as harmonious, with room for both dogs and puppies. Training plays a central role at Lassies. The dogs have participated in obedience, rally, dog dance, agility and DcH programmes, and the breeding establishment prioritises activities that both challenge the dogs and bring them joy. Showing is also part of the work, usually at least once a year.
