Pernille Bjerre Jack Russell Terrier breeder in Stenlille · Denmark

Opdrættet i Stenlille has a small home breeding program of rough-coated Jack Russell Terriers. The breeding work is aimed at breed-typical dogs with a well-functioning temperament. The puppies grow up as part of family life, where they receive a natural introduction to the impressions that are part of everyday life as a family dog. Behind the breeding program lies experience with breeding and conformation assessment within several horse-breeding associations, as well as an education focusing, among other things, on behaviour, reproduction, genetics, physiology and nutrition. There is also specialised knowledge of behaviour and positive reinforcement through training and teaching. The breeding program is a member of Dansk Kennel Klub and operates according to the club’s rules, guidelines and ethical recommendations. The current litter has Hvilebakkens Walt Disney as its sire, a dog whose offspring are noted for their good temperament. The puppies are delivered with a DKK pedigree and, at eight weeks of age, are vaccinated, microchipped and examined by a veterinarian. A health record accompanies each puppy.
