La Source de la Joie is a breeder of Briards, also known as Berger de Brie, in Neede. Since 2013, this breed has symbolized joy and commitment there. Only occasionally is a litter planned, with the parent dogs being carefully selected and health taking priority. In addition to physical health, a balanced temperament and good working abilities are also given particular attention. The breeding program thus focuses on dogs that retain the characteristic qualities of the Briard. La Source de la Joie also holds certification from the Raad van Beheer. The puppies grow up indoors as part of family life on a residential farm in the Achterhoek. There, they become familiar with their everyday surroundings, including the sheep and chickens present. Their socialization begins on the first day of life, so that the young dogs can experience a variety of impressions from the very beginning.
