La Garota Family

La Garota Family is a family project dedicated to breeding Basset Hound dogs in Gerona. Its origins are linked to meeting Garota, a dog that awakened a special admiration for this breed in the kennel. Since then, the activity has focused exclusively on sharing and making known the unique qualities of the Basset Hound. The kennel considers that each Basset Hound has a personality that is difficult to sum up in words and values the bond it can establish with people. La Garota Family understands living with these dogs as a way of life and seeks to preserve the unique character it attributes to the breed. For each puppy, the goal is to find a suitable environment and a family, a companion person or a hunter who can offer it the attention it needs. La Garota Family, identified with La Garota, places importance on ensuring that each addition meets the puppy’s needs and the expectations of its future home.
