Independence Whippet breeder in Flensburg · Germany

Independence is a Whippet kennel on the outskirts of Flensburg in Schleswig-Holstein. The dogs live as an integral part of the household and share everyday life with their family. Joint outings to the Baltic Sea are just as much a part of this as relaxing hours in the living area. Life in a kennel is not intended; every animal receives attention and affection. The puppies spend their first time in a room of their own and then get to know the other living areas in small groups. Everyday sounds such as household appliances and passing trains are therefore familiar to them. Visitors and contact with people are also experienced as positive parts of their environment. In this way, they are gradually prepared for life in a family. The focus of the breeding program is on healthy, even-tempered and breed-typical Whippets that are suitable as family-oriented companions. Independence is affiliated with the Deutscher Windhundzucht- und Rennverband e.V. (DWZRV). High expectations are placed on future owners; even after the puppies have been placed, the kennel remains available to its offspring and their families in the long term.
