Havaneser vom Kohnstein Havanese breeder in Nordhausen · Germany

Havaneser vom Kohnstein is a small hobby breeding program for Havanese in Nordhausen. The breeding program places importance on family-based rearing: The puppies grow up in close contact with their family of origin. Both purebred parents with pedigrees live in the household and accompany the rearing of the offspring. The Havanese is described as affectionate, eager to learn and adaptable. Its coat is not subject to a pronounced seasonal change, which is why the breed sheds very little. The breeding program places its dogs as loyal companions and seeks responsible families or individuals for the puppies who can provide them with lasting time, attention and a place for their entire lives. The puppies move to their new homes at the earliest at ten weeks of age. When they leave, they are vaccinated according to their age, dewormed several times and microchipped; they also receive an EU pet passport and a pedigree. The starter package for their new home includes a familiar-smelling blanket, their usual wet and dry food, as well as mementos from their first weeks of life.
