Harrysmindes

Kennel Harrysmindes in Rask Mølle breeds old Danish pointing dog in a home environment. The puppies live in the house and are gradually accustomed to the ordinary sounds of everyday life. When conditions permit, they go outside, and over time they also gain experience from the stable with horses, sounds and scents. Before reaching eight weeks of age, the puppies are taken on short car rides and introduced to birds or rabbits. The proximity to a shooting range means that they regularly hear gunshots at close range. These experiences form part of the kennel's work to give the puppies a varied start. The kennel has had its first litter since 2018 and has completed DKK's breeder education. The work is also based on many years of experience with horse breeding, as well as learning and professional sparring from experienced breeders and a veterinarian. Kennel Harrysmindes generally plans one litter a year, with mating in the spring.
