Ahm-hansen`s

Ahm-hansen’s is a dog breeder in Hammel specialising in Gammel Dansk Hønsehund. The breeder has had the breed since 2000 and works towards a balanced connection between family life, hunting abilities, conformation and health. The dogs participate in hunting, trials and shows. With a DKK breeder education as a background, Ahm-hansen’s prioritises the puppies’ early acclimatisation to an active everyday life. They grow up in the open-plan kitchen and living area of the home and encounter the family’s usual routines, sounds and smells, including children, cats, music and household appliances. When the puppies become more mobile, they also have the opportunity to explore the garden when the weather permits. Here they can play and encounter varied sensory impressions. From around six weeks of age, short car journeys are also part of their gradual introduction to new experiences.
