The young cats are raised within the family and thus get to know an everyday environment from the very beginning. The kittens grow up together with children and are accustomed to their presence. The family environment shapes the first period of the young animals’ lives. The cattery places importance on ensuring that they can spend sufficient time in their familiar surroundings before leaving. They are not rehomed before the age of 13 weeks. At this point, the kittens have been dewormed, vaccinated twice and identified with a chip. In addition, the new owners receive a current health certificate for their British Shorthair cat.
