FlevoDoodles is a breeder of Australian Labradoodles, in sizes from mini to standard, in the Salland region. René started the breeding program in January 2016; it was previously based in Flevoland. The breeding program is a member of the Australian Labradoodle Association Europe (ALAEU) and follows the association’s code of ethics and regulations. Selection is based on temperament and conformation; many breeding dogs live with host families rather than in a kennel. – Happydoodles Winnie: foundation dog, purchased in Eindhoven. – Courtlands Dutch Dribbel: foundation dog, from the United Kingdom. The dogs are tested for hips (OFA, PennHIP), elbows, patellas and eyes (annually by ECVO), as well as DNA-tested for PRA/PRCD, IC, DM and EIC, among others; parentage is verified. The puppies stay with the breeder until eight weeks old and grow up in the home. From around week 3, socialization begins, with outdoor experiences from week 5, children and elderly people, car rides, forest walks and house-training.
