Kennel Falkeflattens breeding work focuses on Flat-Coated Retrievers that combine health, strength and good mental qualities. The breeding is based on the breed standard and aims for dogs with both physical robustness and a desire to work. The kennel is based in Borup and has completed the DKK breeder training. The puppies are bred with a view to a versatile life as close family dogs. At the same time, emphasis is placed on their ability to take part in activities in the field or in tracking work. The goal is to preserve the breed’s willing-to-work character and create a good foundation for the dogs’ further development. The puppies come into the world in a home environment and spend their first time in the kennel’s living room. Thus, they grow up close to the framework of everyday life from the beginning. Falkeflatten presents a breeding programme where breed type, well-being and useful qualities go hand in hand.
