Elvenland's Miniature Australian Sheherds

Elvenland's Miniature Australian Sheherds has been lovingly running a hobby breeding program of Miniature Australian and Miniature American Shepherds for about fifteen years. The number of litters is deliberately kept low and amounts to no more than two annually. The breeding dogs are examined for HD, ED, PRA-prcd, MDR1 and HSF4 and, according to the information provided, are free from the mentioned findings. The puppies are born in the house and gradually accustomed to typical everyday noises. They then use an exercise area in the yard, where they can get to know other dogs, horses, cats and agricultural vehicles. When they are handed over, the puppies are socialized, dewormed several times, vaccinated and microchipped; they also receive an EU pet passport and pedigree papers. The breeding program describes the Australian Shepherds and their smaller relatives as intelligent, people-oriented and versatile dogs. Their temperament, eagerness to learn and agility can make them suitable for various tasks, such as rescue dog work, dog sports, as riding companions or therapy dogs. They are likewise valued as affectionate and child-friendly family dogs.
