El Fuego del Viento

El Fuego del Viento is a small hobby kennel for Catalan Sheepdogs in the south of Dortmund. Since 2005, the kennel has bred Gos d’Atura and is affiliated with the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH) e.V. The dogs live in the house; they are considered calm, affectionate and eager to learn, and also participate in dog sports. The puppies grow up in a family environment and are carefully prepared for their future lives in new families. Particular emphasis is placed on good socialization. The bitches are subjected to no more than three litters; before another mating, at least 18 months are allowed to pass after the last litter. The aim of the breeding program is to strengthen the breeding base and preserve healthy, even-tempered Gos d’Atura. The dogs have already achieved several championship titles at shows; a male from the kennel was also awarded a championship title. After the puppies are placed, the kennel continues to support the new families with questions and concerns.
