Du Pré Étendu Briard breeder in 's-Heer Abtskerke · Netherlands

Du Pré Étendu is based in 's-Heer Abtskerke and is one of the two oldest briard kennels in the Netherlands. The kennel focuses on the Berger de Brie, also known as the briard, and can draw on forty years of experience with this breed. This long-standing involvement forms the basis of the breeding program. The dogs are bred on a small scale and responsibly. Health is central to this, alongside the aim of further improving the breed. At the same time, Du Pré Étendu considers it important to preserve the working qualities of the Berger de Brie and to carefully take them into account within the breeding program. With these principles, the kennel opts for a considered approach in which health, breed improvement and functional qualities come together. Du Pré Étendu also holds certification from the Raad van Beheer and puts its many years of experience to targeted use in breeding this breed.
