Drovers Run is a dog breeding kennel in Fredensborg with a focus on the Australian Cattle Dog, also known as ACD. The kennel’s overall goal is to carry on the breed’s qualities as a herding dog and to emphasize dogs that can function in an active life with meaningful tasks.
In the breeding work, the ability to herd is especially prioritized. At the same time, the aim is for dogs with the prerequisites that make them suitable for active dog sports. Working ability and desire for activity thus stand central in the direction that Drovers Run has chosen for the breeding.
The functional focus is combined with consideration for the breed’s correct expression as well as sensible physical and mental health. The objective therefore embraces both working qualities, appearance and well-being without letting appearance stand alone. Drovers Run has also completed DKK’s breeder education as a professional foundation for the work with the breed.
