Didlington Doodles

Didlington Doodles is a small family-based hobby breeder in Knighton, specialising in Labradoodles and, more recently, Goldendoodles. The breeding dogs share the household, and puppies are born and raised in the same home environment. Litters may include parti, tuxedo and solid-coloured coats, while particular importance is placed on the dogs’ affectionate, well-balanced temperaments. The breeding dogs undergo health screening appropriate to the breed, including hip assessments through BVA and/or PennHIP, as well as elbow and eye examinations. Relevant DNA testing is also carried out. Puppies grow up alongside the breeder’s other dogs, cats and people, supporting early socialisation before they move to their new homes. Puppies leave from eight weeks of age after a veterinary examination, microchipping and their first vaccination. Didlington Doodles carefully assesses prospective homes and seeks families able to provide suitable companionship, particularly avoiding placements where a puppy would regularly be left alone for long working days. The breeder holds Powys County Council certification.
