De Hyzelaarshoeve Rhodesian Ridgeback breeder in Alphen · Netherlands

De Hyzelaarshoeve is a dog breeder in Alphen, focused on the Rhodesian Ridgeback. The foundation for the kennel was laid in 2022, when the wish for a farm of their own became reality. In that place, the family lives together with the dogs, and there is room to keep the breed in a home environment. De pack began with a neutered male. Not long afterwards, his sister and a friend’s female also came to live at the farm. In the summer, a young puppy was added. At the same time, one of the females already present turned out to be pregnant, which also gave concrete shape to the breeding of Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Currently, the permanent pack consists of four Rhodesian Ridgebacks. The spacious farm forms the centre of their shared life and offers sufficient space for a further expansion of the pack. The kennel also holds certification from the Raad van Beheer.
