Crowd Surfer’s Portuguese Water Dog breeder in Fröndenberg · Germany

The Crowd Surfer’s kennel in Fröndenberg breeds Portuguese Water Dogs and is a member of the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH) e.V. The focus is on dogs whose breed-typical characteristics are intended to bring their future families just as much joy as they bring the kennel itself. At the selection of pairings, the kennel considers health and temperament equally. Available genetic tests are used to have the dogs examined. Planning a litter is carried out carefully, with consideration for character, health aspects, and suitable traits of the individual dogs. The dogs are kept busy in a variety of ways: this can include obedience, agility, and water work, as well as quiet hours at home. Several dogs were trained as therapy assistance dogs and worked in child and youth welfare as well as in ambulatory assisted living. Shows are also part of the program; one male dog additionally passed a water work test.
