BOA FELICIDADE (VDH) Portuguese Water Dog breeder in Bad Wildungen · Germany

BOA FELICIDADE is a dog breeding establishment in Bad Wildungen that breeds the Portuguese Water Dog and is affiliated with the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH) e.V. The path to breeding is shaped by many years of personal and professional experience with dogs, as well as by animal physiotherapy and orthopedic care. Particular emphasis is placed by the breeding establishment on health and a stable temperament. Experience with the Cão de Água Português has sharpened awareness of the importance of careful examinations. In addition to the prescribed checks, genetic tests for PRA, GM-1, JDCM and IC were arranged for breeding dogs. In the case of hip dysplasia, exercise and nutrition during the first year of life are also considered important influences. The early development of the puppies is also a central focus. They grow up in a varied environment and become familiar with adults, children, other animals, as well as everyday and environmental sounds. Car rides, walking on a leash and various surfaces are just as much part of their socialization as initial house-training exercises.
