Collies von den Glücksbärchen is a small family kennel in Königsbrunn that works with one breeding bitch within the framework of the Europäische Kynologische Union (EKU). The focus is on long-haired Collies of the American type. The aim is physically healthy, well-balanced dogs with a friendly character for family life. As raising puppies requires a great deal of time and attention, a litter is planned approximately every two years. The puppies receive careful socialization and are gradually introduced to close contact with people. Different sounds as well as play and training elements are intended to gently prepare them for situations in their later everyday lives and prevent possible fears. Particular attention is paid to a trusting relationship between dog and person, which is regarded as an important basis for an open family dog. Even after the puppies leave, the kennel supports the new families within its possibilities. The breeding facility received the highest award from the EKU, with five stars.
