Kennel Capercaillie's in Horsens breeds Curly Coated Retrievers with a focus on the breed’s expression, a stable and healthy temperament, and the dogs’ joy in working. In the breeding work, emphasis is placed on the puppies’ parents being healthy, examined, and tested for relevant diseases. The kennel also prioritizes willingness to cooperate and a beautiful exterior. The puppies grow up in a home environment, where they receive early socialization. Before they move, they undergo a health examination at the veterinarian and are vaccinated. The goal is to give them a secure start with the best conditions for developing into healthy and well-balanced dogs. The kennel has completed the DKK breeder education. The next litter is planned after a female imported from the Netherlands, which has been trained in retrieving from an early age. The work includes both dummies and dead game, an activity that the female greatly enjoys.
