Black Obsidian

Black Obsidian is a dog breeder based in Hódmezővásárhely, specialising in Border Collies and Belgian Shepherd Dogs, including Groenendael and Tervueren varieties. The breeding programme focuses on these recognised herding breeds and on the qualities that distinguish each of them. Dogs descended from this breeding have found homes in many parts of the world. Their presence beyond the breeder’s home country reflects the international reach of the kennel and the continued interest in its Belgian Shepherd Dogs and Border Collies. The offspring have achieved results in dog shows as well as in canine sports. Some descendants have also gone on to work as therapy dogs, demonstrating their ability to take on varied roles alongside their show and sporting achievements.
