Bernerbandens is a small hobby breeding operation of Bernese Mountain Dogs on Ærø. The breeding operation works with this dog breed and has a limited scope for its breeding activities. Its location on the island is a central part of the breeding operation’s brief presentation. A maximum of one litter is planned per year. The stated maximum number of litters describes a smaller-scale breeding operation rather than extensive production. The information gives a clear picture of Bernerbandens’ activity level, even though no further details are available about current or upcoming litters. Bernerbandens has DKK’s breeder education as a registered qualification.
