Berner-Emmas

Kennel Berner-Emmas is a serious and caring breeder of Bernese Mountain Dogs in Augustenborg. In the breeding work, particular emphasis is placed on health, a long life and a stable, good temperament. The kennel has also completed DKK's breeder education, which forms part of the foundation for the work with the breed. The puppies grow up as part of everyday life inside the house. Here they gain experience with adults, children and elderly people as well as various loud sounds. Each litter also visits a nursing home, experiences a trip to the beach and encounters as many other suitable challenges as possible before the puppies leave the kennel. Before moving, each puppy is examined by a veterinarian and a physiotherapist. When the puppies are around seven weeks old, they also undergo a puppy test. This combination of health checks, early socialisation and varied experiences is intended to give each individual puppy thorough preparation for life in its future home.
