A.I.C.R - Association internationale du Chat Russe Russian Blue breeder in Mouvaux · France

History It was in 1995 that the RUSSIAN BLUE, a little-known cat, began to become known to the general public thanks to a few lovers of the breed who decided to create a breed club. Since 2004, the Russian varieties have expanded and people no longer speak only of the Russian Blue but also of the Russian White, the Russian Black (short-haired) and the Nebelung (semi-long-haired). In 2007, the LOOF brought these varieties together into a single breed: the RUSSIAN. The association is affiliated with the LOOF and its internal regulations scrupulously comply with the rules issued. Roles The ASSOCIATION INTERNATIONALE DU CHAT RUSSE aims to improve knowledge of the Russian Cat and to establish optimal mixing in order to diversify the bloodlines. The term "internationale" reveals the desire to make contact internationally in order to discover the specific characteristics of the breed in different parts of the planet.
