Via Emilia

Via Emilia is an Amsterdam cattery devoted to Russian Blue cats. Drawing on several years of breeding and sales experience, it aims to raise healthy kittens in line with the breed standard. Young cats grow up with attentive care and early social contact before joining their permanent homes. The cattery says its cats are looked after by staff trained in felinology, with particular attention to feline health and welfare. Kittens are described as dewormed and free of known disease or health concerns when placed, while the team focuses on preparing sociable companions for family life. Its Russian Blues come from pedigreed lines that may be presented at cat shows and earn titles. The breeding programme is headed by Max, a Russian Blue identified as a current European and Russian champion. Away from exhibitions and breeding, the cats are portrayed above all as members of a close, friendly household.
