A Tail of Ice&Floof's

A Tail of Ice&Floof's is a small-scale hobby kennel for Samoyeds in Alphen aan den Rijn, started in 2025 and certified by the Raad van Beheer. The dogs are part of the family. Only occasionally is a litter planned, in accordance with the breeding standards of the Nederlandse Samojeden Club. Health, character and breed type determine each parent combination. The parent dogs are tested for hip and elbow dysplasia, their eyes are examined through ECVO and they are screened with a broad genetic panel, including for hereditary retinal atrophy and nephropathy. Before breeding, an exterior judge assesses them according to the breed standard; in appearance, the dogs mainly align with show lines. A female generally has one or two litters; only in the event of an exceptionally good course may a third litter be considered. The puppies leave with a pedigree, deworming treatments, vaccinations and a European pet passport. Also included are copies of the health examinations, a filled puppy package and a sales agreement.
