It all depends on where your puppy comes from
For a responsible acquisition, it is advisable to favor a registered breeder who presents the parents or their file, the results of health examinations, the breeding conditions and the puppy’s identification documents. Adoption through an association remains possible, but dogs of this breed are rare there.

What about once they're home?
A price that seems too good to be true?
- An abnormally low price may indicate an unverified origin, insufficient socialization, or a lack of health monitoring.
- Identification, the veterinary certificate, the transfer contract, and the documents of origin must be provided at the time of acquisition.
- No serious seller guarantees a color, a temperament, or future results in shows.
