Yamba-Land’s has been intensively involved with the Maltese since 1999. The kennel lives with a small group of these dogs in a town in the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park in Baden-Württemberg. The focus is on the long-standing bond with the breed and the dogs’ shared life in a family environment. Since 2001, the kennel has belonged to the Verband Deutscher Kleinhundezüchter e.V., which is affiliated with the FCI and VDH system. Yamba-Land’s dogs are presented at shows of these associations. This means that the kennel is regularly represented in the show scene for Maltese. Occasionally, Yamba-Land’s plans a litter of Maltese. Breeding takes place on a manageable scale and is closely integrated into the family’s everyday life. The experience with the breed gained over many years shapes the keeping and care of the small Maltese group.
