Whitefang's ... of Angou Loup's Mountain Saarloos Wolfdog breeder in Witzenhausen · Germany

Whitefang's ... of Angou Loup's Mountain in Witzenhausen has been breeding Saarloos Wolfdogs since 1996. The small hobby kennel, affiliated with the Deutscher Verein für Saarlooswolfhunde e.V., aims to preserve the breed-typical dog and calls itself the oldest still active kennel of the breed. At the centre is an original Dutch line, whose preservation is important to the kennel. The dogs live as a pack in the house and in outdoor areas; retired females also remain there. Puppies grow up in the house and get to know everyday life, the garden and the other dogs. Temperament, health, correct anatomy and good movement are central breeding goals; show successes are cited as confirmation. The kennel describes Saarloos Wolfdogs as loyal and curious, but initially reserved towards strangers. It also has a breeding permit for Siberian Huskies.
