White Harmony's has been dedicated to breeding West Highland White Terriers since 1981. The introduction to the breed began in the 1970s with meeting experienced Westie breeders, whose knowledge and support laid the foundation for the later breeding program. From the first dogs, the desire developed to also present the breed at shows and establish a breeding program of its own. To this day, the fundamentals of trimming learned early on, as well as the appreciation for beautiful Westies with sound temperaments, shape the work of White Harmony's. The breeding program in Castrop-Rauxel deliberately remains small and places importance on a healthy population. The West Highland White Terriers live as family members. White Harmony's is affiliated with the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V. and continues the breeding program with many years of experience.
