West Side Golden breeds Golden Retrievers in Weilerswist in the Euskirchen district near Cologne. The connection with the breed dates back to childhood and was deepened with the first own Retriever. This gave rise to the desire to breed Golden Retrievers responsibly. With the first dog, the kennel gained experience at shows, in hunting work and in dummy sports. The pack includes self-bred females as well as a male imported from Serbia. In 2024, the kennel completed the training to become a specialist breed judge for Golden Retrievers. The internationally protected kennel name West Side Golden has existed since January 2014. The kennel is affiliated with the Golden Retriever Club e.V. and places living together with its pack at the centre of its activities. The breeding programme is characterised by a long-standing appreciation of the Golden Retriever.
