von der Weiherburg

The von der Weiherburg kennel is dedicated to the Weimaraner in Innsbruck. It is affiliated with the IRJGV e. V., the International Association of Breed, Hunting and Working Dogs. The breeding bitch has a pedigree issued by the association; the puppies also receive corresponding IRJGV documents when they leave the kennel. The focus is on healthy, even-tempered and breed-typical Weimaraners. The kennel places particular emphasis on careful socialisation and species-appropriate rearing. The formative first period of the puppies’ lives is used purposefully to enable them to experience a variety of impressions appropriate to their age. The puppies get to know other dogs, horses and children, visit the dog training ground and can explore the puppy area there with its equipment. Short walks and car journeys are also part of their acclimatisation. When they are handed over between the eighth and ninth week, the puppies are vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed several times.
