Von der Vogelweide is a dog breeding establishment based in Rheinfelden that is dedicated to the Weimaraner. The focus is on performance breeding oriented towards hunting, taking the breed-typical traits of the dogs into account. The breeding program aims to raise Weimaraners with a connection to their original tasks and characteristics. A particular focus is placed on the early support of the puppies. The rearing is designed to promote their development in a structured manner from the very beginning. Early imprinting therefore forms an integral part of the breeding concept and complements the focus on the Weimaraners’ hunting performance. The breeding establishment is recognized as a breeder by the Weimaraner-Klub e. V. Von der Vogelweide thus combines the Weimaraner’s hunting orientation with targeted support for the puppies during their first developmental phase.
