v.Schwedenstein Hovawart breeder in Am Mellensee · Germany

The v.Schwedenstein kennel in Am Mellensee is dedicated to the Hovawart and bases its work on the demanding guidelines of Hovawartzucht-International e.V. The focus is on preserving an original, powerful and breed-typical dog. The aim is a weather-resistant, natural Hovawart that proves itself to be a reliable companion in everyday family life. At the same time, it should have the qualities to be used as a motivated partner in dog sports if there is appropriate interest. When planning matings, v.Schwedenstein places importance on health, sound temperament and the closest possible adherence to the breed standard. These standards apply both to its own breeding dogs and to the selection of suitable stud dogs. Breeding is viewed with a long-term perspective, so decisions are made with future generations in mind.
