The von Unter Auerbach kennel in Althütte is dedicated to breeding Parson Russell Terriers. As a small kennel, the focus is not on the number of litters, but on carefully planned breeding. The breeding is carried out within the Klub für Terrier von 1894 e.V.; the dogs have the required documentation and undergo the prescribed health examinations. Health, temperament and conformation form the essential foundations of the breeding plan. Dogs intended for breeding are critically selected and examined, and long-term planning is also applied when choosing suitable males. The kennel follows FCI Standard No. 339 for the Parson Russell Terrier and has its dogs assessed at national and international shows. The puppies grow up in close contact with the pack, people and children and receive intensive socialisation. Therefore, puppies or young dogs are not always available. Before moving to their new homes, the puppies are dewormed several times, vaccinated and microchipped; the veterinarian and breeding supervisor accompany the rearing process and monitor both the dogs and their offspring.
