The hobby breeding kennel von und zu Kernig in Sehnde is dedicated to the robust, versatile Cairn Terrier from Scotland. When selecting the parent dogs, health, a cheerful and balanced temperament, as well as resilience and suitability for everyday life are the main focus. Suitable males from Germany and abroad are also selected according to these standards. The dogs live as family members in the house and can use a 8,000 m² garden. In addition to outings in the woods and fields, the grounds offer plenty of space for exercise and play. The aim of the breeding programme is to produce typical Cairn Terrier puppies whose physical characteristics are just as convincing as their character and robust health. The puppies grow up in the house and, from the fourth week onwards, become familiar with a play course in the garden, the other dogs in the pack and a wide variety of everyday experiences. When they leave, they have been dewormed several times, vaccinated seven times, microchipped and provided with an EU pet passport. Even afterwards, the kennel supports the new owners with advice, trimming and the possibility of caring for their own offspring.
