von Ratingen

The von Ratingen kennel in Ratingen is dedicated to breeding Shetland Sheepdogs. Among the litters presented, bi-black puppies were mentioned, among others. Emphasis is placed on careful rearing and on well-socialized, healthy dogs. For breeding, genetic information on CEA/PRA, MH, DM, von Willebrand and MDR1 is provided. The sire of one litter is described as a carrier of DM without developing the disease himself. Eye examinations of the puppies are dispensed with due to the documented genetic conditions of the lines. The puppies are dewormed, vaccinated and microchipped before being handed over and receive a blue EU pet passport as well as a pedigree. The starter package also includes a suitable harness with lead, familiar food for the first period and toys. The kennel provides information about keeping the dog and preparing for its new home.
